2. PRODUCTS AND PRICING
We take every care to ensure that product descriptions are accurate at the time of uploading products to the website. We reserve the right to withdraw any product from the website without any prior notification. We also reserve the right to amend prices of products without prior notification.
Our products are priced in Euro. When paying by credit card this is the amount which will be deducted from your debit or credit card. When purchasing products with sterling or other currencies, debit or credit cards, the exchange rates will be set by the cardholders bank. These rates fluctuate on a daily basis, for further information, cardholder should contact their bank as exchange rates are not applied by Modern Fashions. All prices shown on our website are inclusive of VAT.
3. ORDERING GOODS
When an order is placed on our website, you will receive a confirmation email confirming we have received your order and it is being processed. You will receive a second email from us acknowledging your order has been dispatched with a tracking number where applicable.
All products are subject to availability. Our display of products on our website is an invitation and not an offer to sell those goods to you. An offer is made when you place the order for your products.
If products that you order are out of stock, subject to a delay or the price is higher than that shown on your order, we will try to contact you at the email address you provided when placing your order. If we cannot contact you or receive no response to our email, we will continue to process any remaining products on your order. We will not supply a replacement product without your authorisation. If you would like to cancel your order please see returns section of our policy.
IRELAND, NORTHERN IRELAND, SCOTLAND AND UK SHIPPING
We offer FREE delivery on Gift cards and purchases over €49. We charge €4.95 postage for purchases less than €49. All orders received before 2pm Monday to Thursday with a delivery address in Ireland and Northern Ireland should be received by the customer within 24 hours. Orders placed on a Friday and over the weekend will be dispatched on a Monday morning for delivery on a Tuesday.
Our chosen postal partner for Ireland and Northern Ireland is Fastway Courier service. On occasion we will use An Post.
SCOTLAND & UK DELIVERIES
We offer FREE delivery on Gift cards and purchases over €49. We charge €4.95 postage for purchases less than €49. All orders received before 2pm Monday to Thursday with a delivery address in the UK should be received by the customer within 2-4 working days. Orders placed on a Friday and over the weekend will be dispatched on a Monday morning.
We mainly use Fastway Courier services along with An Post and Royal Mail. The choice of carrier depends on the type of item being dispatched.
MORE INFORMATION ON FASTWAY
For all parcels dispatched using this method, the recipient will receive a notification email to confirm the goods have been dispatched along with a track and trace number. You can check the status of your order on www.fastway.ie
EUROPE & REST OF WORLD
The cost of postage varies depending on the region – rates range between €15 and €47.00 and pending on the weight of the product. Delivery can take up to 10 days to European countries and 20 days for Rest of World.
We do not ship goods to the following countries – Bulgaria, Iceland, Romania, Tunisia and Turkey. We reserve our right to cancel a transaction to these areas.
We do not issue tracking numbers for parcels however if you require it, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
COLLECT ORDER INSTORE
When ordering your purchases you can opt to collect your items instore by clicking ‘I’ll Collect Instore’. Your order will be ready for collection 24 hours after the order has been placed. Store Pick up times: 9.30 – 6pm Monday to Saturday.
When collecting your items instore, remember to bring your order confirmation email which will be emailed to you once your order has been completed. We will accept the email in printed format or on a tablet or smart phone.
Photographic identification must also be presented when collecting goods; we will accept a driver’s licence or passport.
What happens after I place an order?
When your order is placed we will send you an email to confirm all your details are correct. Once we have dispatched your item(s), you will receive a second email from us noting your delivery information and tracking number where applicable.
We offer FREE post for all Gift Cards ordered. Gift Cards will be dispatched within 24 hours of order and can be personalised with a message if requested at the time of order.
All Gift Card orders are sent with An Post registered postal service.
Please note – Gift Cards cannot be returned once purchased and cannot be exchanged for cash or other gift cards. Gift cards purchased in-store or on our website cannot be used as a form of payment on the website; they may only be used in-store. We cannot take responsibility for any gift cards that are lost, stolen or used by someone other than your recipient after delivery. Make sure your recipient has received their gift card, as it is their responsibility to keep the Gift Card safe.
We use reliable postal services however we shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the parcels within the estimated timescales.
5. RETURNS POLICY
The Returns and Exchange Policy described below only applies only to online purchases made through our website or on the telephone. We are delighted to take the hassle out of returns by offering our Irish and Northern Irish customers FREE returns postage.
* We do NOT offer FREE returns courier label for sale reduced product.
REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
We are happy to offer a refund if the item is unsuitable within 14 days of receipt of your order. The product you return must be in new, unused, and unworn condition with tags attached and in original packaging. It is our policy to return goods to the purchaser if we suspect that any product has been used or worn. All dispatched orders will include a packing note outlining your purchase details and a returns form.
Following inspection an email shall be sent confirming receipt and you will be refunded the amount due through the original method of payment, excluding original postage charge if relevant.
You should expect to see the refund in your account within 5 working days from receipt of this email; however some banks may take longer. If you have not received this money into your account after 10 working days you should contact email@example.com
We are happy to exchange a product for the same product but in a different size, if available pending the product being returned is new, unused and unworn condition with tags attached and in original packaging. If a different product is requested then a new order must be completed on the website by the user.

SETTLING DISPUTES – ONLINE DISPUTE RESOLUTION
We aim to ensure that our customers are completely satisfied with their purchase and service given by our customer service team. However if for any reason you are unhappy, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will aim to resolve the matter immediately. You can also submit your complaint to an online dispute resolution process operated by the European Commission by clicking on this link.
